Caustic Soda Flakes, in the form of white translucent flakes, is a basic chemical raw material widely used in various industries. It finds applications in the light textile industry, such as papermaking, synthetic detergents, soaps, adhesive fibers, rayon, and cotton fabrics. It is also utilized in the agricultural, dye, rubber, and chemical industries, as well as in petroleum drilling, refining fats and oils, and extracting tar in the petroleum industry. Furthermore, it is used in defense, machinery, wood processing, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, urban construction, and more. Soda ash is employed in the manufacturing of chemicals, paper, soaps and detergents, rayon, and glass paper. It is also used in processing alumina from bauxite, silk finishing in the textile industry, water treatment, and other applications.
In terms of shape, industrial-grade CSF appears as white translucent flakes. According to the national standard (GB209-2006) for CSF, a slight coloration is permitted, which is due to impurities present in the CSF.
