PRODUCT APPLICATION
Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is an inorganic substance and a emerging water purification material. It is an inorganic polymer coagulant, also known as polyaluminum. It is a water-soluble polymer located between AlCl3 and Al(OH)3, with the chemical formula [Al2(OH)nCl6-n]m, where m represents the polymerization degree and n represents the neutralization degree of PAC products. For n=1~5, it forms highly charged polymeric rings with Keggin structure, which exhibit strong electro-neutralization and bridging effects on colloids and particles in water. It can effectively remove trace toxic substances and heavy metal ions, and has stable properties. The testing method can be conducted according to the national standard GB 15892-2003. Due to the bridging effect of hydroxide ions and the polymerization effect of multivalent anions, polyaluminum chloride produced has a relatively large molecular weight and high charge, making it an inorganic high-molecular Water Treatment agent.
