Zinc sulfate, also known as white vitriol or zinc vitriol, is a colorless or white rhombic crystal or powder at room temperature. It has astringent properties, is easily soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is acidic. It is slightly soluble in ethanol and glycerol. Pure zinc sulfate stored in air for a long time will not turn yellow, but will become a white powder when it loses water in dry air. There are multiple hydrates: stable hydrates in equilibrium with water at 0-39℃ are heptahydrate zinc sulfate, at 39-60℃ are hexahydrate zinc sulfate, and at 60-100℃ are monohydrate zinc sulfate. When heated to 280℃, all hydrates lose their crystal water. At 680℃, they decompose into zinc oxide and sulfur trioxide, and above 750℃, they further decompose. Finally, at around 930℃, they decompose into zinc oxide and sulfur trioxide. ZnSO4·7H2O can form mixed crystals with MSO4·7H2O (M = Mg, Fe, Mn, Co, Ni) within a certain range.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
Trace Element Fertilizer: Zinc sulfate can be used to prevent diseases in fruit tree nurseries and is a commonly used fertilizer to supplement zinc trace elements in crops, which can be used as base fertilizer, foliar fertilizer, etc. Zinc is one of the necessary nutrients for plants. Corn with zinc deficiency is prone to albino seedlings, and when severely deficient, growth stops and even seedlings die, especially in some sandy loam or fields with pH values that are too high. Therefore, zinc fertilizers such as zinc sulfate should be added, which can also increase yield. Fertilization method: Take 0.04-0.06 kg of zinc fertilizer, mix with 1 kg of water and 10 kg of seeds, and pile and seal for 2-3 hours before sowing. Before sowing, apply zinc fertilizer to the root zone, with a dosage of 0.75-1 kg per mu. If the leaf color is pale during the seedling stage, spray zinc fertilizer at a rate of 0.1 kg per mu.
